Adara Bio Advances R&D Pipeline: Signs Strategic Collaboration Agreement with TFBS Bioscience at Bio Asia–Taiwan 2026

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA / TAIPEI, TAIWAN — Melbourne based Adara Bio which is building the next generation of retinal genetic medicines through a programmable RNA editing platform today announced a collaboration with viral vector manufacturer TFBS Bioscience to support its pre-clinical research.

The agreement, finalized during the Bio Asia–Taiwan 2026 conference in Taipei, marking a pivotal milestone in Adara Bio’s research and development timeline, securing high-quality manufacturing infrastructure to accelerate its therapeutic pipeline.


Advancing RNA Base Editing for Inherited Retinal Diseases


Adara Bio’s core mission is the development of life-changing gene therapies utilizing its innovative RNA Base Editing Platform. The platform focuses on correcting mutations responsible for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs), aiming to restore vision and offer durable therapeutic solutions to patients facing degenerative blindness.

The partnership with TFBS Bioscience provides a scalable, specialized manufacturing framework necessary to transition these targeted RNA therapies to support its pre-clinical research.

Representatives from Adara Bio and the CERA research team engaged with several of Asia’s leading clinical and scientific networks, touring facilities at National Taiwan University Hospital and Academia Sinica.

The delegation was also honored with an executive meeting with Dr. Chien-Jen Chen, President of Academia Sinica, highlighting the growing synergy and collaborative infrastructure being built between the Australian and Taiwanese biotechnology sectors.
